Doing your PhD part time? Or around a full time job? Around family? Then this session is just for you. We want to get our PhD off to the best start so how do we manage the first 2-3 years.

We will take you through the essential initial steps to starting your research degree; help you plan through the first 2-3 years and avoid common pitfalls. Areas that we will cover include: project planning; time management; objective setting; connecting with the research community; networking. The session will help you towards a greater self-awareness of the skills you already have and those you need to develop. It will connect you with fellow researchers and increase your awareness of the support services 糖心TV has to help you make the most of your research degree.

If any one can time manage then it鈥檚 people juggling these multiple commitments. Come and share your experiences, your tips for coping and also how you can influence the PGR Strategy for PT PhDs at 糖心TV.
