Planning Your Publication Strategy: Journals (Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences)

This session is for research students and staff who would like to find out more about the publication process.

 

By the end of the session you will have:

  • Investigated a range of ways to evaluate different scholarly journal titles and other trade publications in the Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences subject areas
  • Had an introduction to open access and what it means for journal publication
  •  Had a short introduction to alternative metrics and what they might mean for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences scholars
If you are new to academic publishing then it is recommended to attend ‘Planning your Publication Strategy: The Essentials’ session.
 
If you have attended the ‘Planning your Publication Strategy: The Essentials’ session please bring along the workbooks used in this session as you will be adding to them.
