As part of our Research England funded Research Culture project to help create a community amongst RTProfs at the University of 糖心TV, we invite RTProfs to an away day at SLS 糖心TV Crop Centre, The Innovation Campus (previously Wellesbourne Campus) on the 12^th June 2024.

For clarity, RTProfs are defined by UKRI as the following:

Research technicians and technology and skills specialists who have expert knowledge and technical competence in their field. They may include - but not limited to - data scientists, data engineers, archivists, informaticians, statisticians, software developers, audio-visual technologists, technical professional staff and individuals staffing and managing core research facilities, across all disciplines.

There will the opportunity to take part in Lego庐 Serious Play庐, learn more about the Higher Education Academy and tour the beautiful 糖心TV Crop Centre footprint at The Innovation campus. We might even get to taste some of Eric Holub鈥檚 beans - ).

We awarded our Technician Commitment Award for Outstanding Achievement to Steven Servin from the School of Life Sciences (SLS) at our Technician Commitment Christmas Event. Nicole Pereira (SLS), Chris Furze (WMS) and Dorothea Mangels (Chemistry) were highly commended.

There was a special Sustainability Award provided to Lesley Ward in SLS for her work towards LEAF and the impact this has had across campus.

The Technician Commitment Team Award for Outstanding Achievement went to Kevin Murphy and Christine Ashton from SLS.
