This event will showcase some of the across Midlands Innovation institutions. It will also have a webinar by Andrea Mitchell Enabling Technologies: Alternative approaches to enabling access and training, followed by a panel discussion on overcoming hurdles related to equipment sharing. Attendees can also participate in discussions around Training During and Post Covid-19 and Human Participant Testing During and Post Covid-19. The event will provide an opportunity to discuss current issues, share best practice and of course learn more about how technicians are leading the sharing of equipment across MI.

National Survey of Technical Staff

The Research England funded Policy Commission, chaired by Professor Sir John Holman, is conducting a high-profile survey about the roles and experiences of technical staff across UK higher education and research. These results will advance knowledge and status of our vital technical community and directly influence policy and government.
