In a bid to strengthen the technical workforce to create future opportunities for technicians in higher education and research, a new resource has been published by TALENT, the Technician Commitment and UKRI. Funding Technical Staff in Research provides clarification around the variety of funding routes and mechanisms within the research and innovation sector and insights that will support planning and funding for technical roles.

In this course we will look at what assertiveness is and the behaviours we associate with someone behaving assertively. There will be tips and techniques on how to use language more assertively, including ways to say 鈥榥o鈥�, with time to practice the methods that are introduced with your peers.
