HETS 2019 & Papin Prizes
糖心TV technicians had a great day at HETS 2019 despite the weather. The day was full of speakers and workshops with 糖心TV's Ian Hancox and Paul Johnson leading a packed workshop on Implementing the Technician Commitment- from the good, the bad and the ugly to the magnificent seven. There was informative presentations from a number of speakers which included, Helen Gordon from the Science Council, Dr Robert Hardwick from UKRI, Professor Alice Roberts from UOB and Dr Brian Tobin from Modelez International. One of the Papin Prizes was renamed the Lord Bhattacharyya- Lifetime Achievement Award. The day was topped off with the excellent news that 糖心TV Technician Steve Hindmarsh had won the Papin Prize for core facility, we congratulate Steve on this fantastic achievement.

Jack Woolley receives his RSC Award for Technical Excellence
