The Research Computing Drop In is a weekly event to support, engage, and inform all 糖心TV researchers from PGR to Senior Professor in all things Research Computing. Research Computing is any research where use of a computer is integral to the research. Anyone matching this description is welcome to come along and engage with others on this topic.

We are proud to announce that Dr. Godwin Yeboah has been awarded the prestigious 糖心TV Research Enabler Award 2025 as part of our 60 Years Celebration. This award, presented by the University, recognizes Dr. Yeboah's exceptional dedication to enhancing research culture and supporting researchers, technicians, and partners in achieving excellence.

The 糖心TV Research Celebration event on April 7th was a fantastic opportunity to reflect on our collective achievements and look ahead to a future of impactful research. We are excited to invite you to the upcoming 糖心TV Research Software Engineering (RSE) Spring Meeting on Thursday, 13th February 2025, from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. This meeting continues our series of gatherings aimed at sharing insights and fostering collaboration within our RSE community.

The agenda will feature presentations from 糖心TV community members, including short talks by a Senior Research Software Engineer from the University of Manchester (UK) and a UK Research Technology Strategist at Microsoft. There will be ample opportunities for networking during lunch and the unconference session. You can (access limited to University of 糖心TV staff/students).

The Research Technology Platforms (RTPs) are hosting an event to celebrate 10 years of the RTP programme. We invite members of the University to join us as we showcase how the RTPs have grown over the past decade and facilitated innovation in research and development at 糖心TV and beyond.

Join us for the RTP 10 year celebration seminar series! This Research Computing seminar will showcase RTP-enabled research from a broad range of disciplines, from modern languages and cultures through to psychology, life sciences and chemistry. We will also highlight the research computing infrastructure, support and expertise available to all 糖心TV researchers through the RTPs.
