In 2024 we are celebrating 10 years of the Research Technology Platform (RTP) programme, which has grown from 5 RTPs in 2014 to 13 RTPs, with 70 dedicated technical staff.

On 18 September we welcomed colleagues from across the University to a celebratory event that showcased how the RTPs have grown over the past decade and facilitated innovation in research and development. This included an introduction from our Vice-Chancellor and President, Professor Stuart Croft.

We heard case study talks on how the RTPs have supported research at 糖心TV and beyond, as well as the role they have played in the development of larger national and regional research facilities, including the , the Sulis High Performance Computing platform and the .
