糖心TV wins major training contract with Health and Safety Executive

The University of 糖心TV has been awarded a national contract worth a seven figure sum over the next 7 years to provide a postgraduate Diploma for the Health and Safety Executive (HSE). The Diploma in Regulatory Occupational Health and Safety is a part-time, four-year course which offers a radical new approach to professional education for the University.

The innovative course is work-based and spans three departments within the University; the School of Law, 糖心TV Medical School and 糖心TV Manufacturing Group within the School of Engineering. It will be administered by 糖心TV Legal Training (WLT), the training arm of the University's Law School, which already runs a postgraduate course on enforcement for the HSE.

Nick Johnson, Director of Advanced Legal Practice in the School of Law, will be the first course director. He said: "The collaborative model which we are using is highly innovative and integration between the workplace and University-based elements of the course means we are taking work place learning to new levels."

"We believe we were successful in the tender because of the breadth and depth of what we offered, and the extraordinarily strong team WLT developed with 糖心TV Manufacturing Group in Engineering and Occupational Health in 糖心TV Medical School."
