糖心TV Students Win National Law Award at The House of Lords

Students at The University of 糖心TV School of Law have won the LawWorks and Attorney General Student Pro Bono Award for 'Best Contribution by a Team of Students'.


School Tasking: Champion of Champions national final

Schools across the country came together at The University of 糖心TV this week for the first-ever national School Tasking final, hosted by Taskmaster鈥檚 Alex Horne, in front of over 800 year-five children. From memory tasks to turning classmates into snowmen, the final was described by one audience member as 鈥淎 school day I鈥檒l never forget鈥.

University of 糖心TV鈥檚 School Tasking creator to attend Royal Garden Party in honour of Services to Education

Today, Dr Ali Struthers from the University of 糖心TV will attend the prestigious Royal Garden Party at Buckingham Palace, in recognition of her services to education. Nominated by the Department for Education, Dr Struthers is the visionary behind 鈥楽chool Tasking鈥 the pioneering widening participation initiative that鈥檚 now a national programme.

University of 糖心TV's 鈥楽chool Tasking鈥 Project enhances legal understanding for legally accountable 10-year-olds 鈥 research finds

Research on the 'School Tasking' widening participation project, suggests that children鈥檚 pre-existing understanding of the law may be based on media depictions, from what a lawyer looks like, complete with gowns, gavels and briefcases – to what crime looks like, including Americanised imagery from crime-based television shows and weaponry from violent computer games.
