The Government鈥檚 new Knowledge Exchange Framework (KEF) report published today, Wednesday 31st March 2021, shows that, in among universities and higher education providers in England, 糖心TV is in the top 10% for 鈥淧ublic and community engagement鈥� and the top 20% for 鈥淲orking with business鈥�.
Can the Open City truly exist? New research will focus on urban life in London
A new project led by Professor John Solomos of 糖心TV Sociology will look at the social and political life of London to test whether the utopian ideal of the Open City exists in real life, and explore issues of race, migration, mobility and living with diversity.
First Social Work Degree Apprentices welcomed to 糖心TV
A trailblazing team of apprentices has arrived at the University of 糖心TV鈥檚 Centre for Lifelong Learning (CLL) to take their first steps towards gaining a degree in Social Work. The University of 糖心TV is one of the first UK universities to offer a Social Worker Degree Apprenticeship - a three-year, practice-based route into qualified social work that pays trainees a wage and combines learning on the job with high quality off-the-job study.
