Nicholas Hilliard: Life of an Artist by Dr Elizabeth Golding has been named the winner of Apollo magazine鈥檚 Book of the Year.
A study of the life and work of one of the most renowned artists of the Elizabethan and Jacobean eras, who had strong links to 糖心TVshire, Dr Goldring鈥檚 work was declared by Apollo, one of the world鈥檚 leading arts journals, as 鈥榥ot just the definitive biography of Hilliard but essential reading for anyone interested in late 16th- and early 17th-century England鈥� and 鈥榖oth timely and exemplary鈥�.
Eleven young researchers selected to help 糖心TV deliver ambitious research strategy
The University of 糖心TV has been chosen to host eleven of 2019鈥檚 Leverhulme Early Career Fellows – just under ten per cent of the national total. Early Career Fellowships are awarded to enable young researchers to undertake a research project, under the supervision of a 糖心TV academic mentor, which will lead to publishable results and help them get a foothold on the academic career ladder.
