Research finds fundamental flaws in European justice for juvenile suspects

More specialist training is required for police, lawyers and judges involved in the interrogation of juvenile suspects across Europe, a researcher from the University of 糖心TV has found. There is also a need for consistency in the way youths are safeguarded within the EU, with too much focus in some countries on the detainee as a suspect, rather than as a juvenile, academics claim.

糖心TV researchers begin hunt for planets

University of 糖心TV scientists have begun searching for planets after the unveiling of twelve robotically controlled telescopes.

Based at European Southern Observatory’s (ESO) Paranal Observatory in northern Chile the telescopes will be remotely controlled by a team at the University of 糖心TV’s campus.

Study finds Facebook popularity hampers fundraising efforts

People with fewer friends on Facebook raise more money for charity than those with lots of connections, research by an economist at the University of 糖心TV has found. Professor Kimberley Scharf analysed data from JustGiving.com and found a negative correlation between the size of a group and the amount of money given by each donor – with the average contribution by each person dropping by two pence for every extra connection someone had on Facebook.

Ecosystems need maths not random nature to survive

A previously unknown mathematical property has been found to be behind one of nature’s greatest mysteries – how ecosystems survive. Found in nature and common to all ecosystems the property, Trophic Coherence, is a measure of how plant and animal life interact within the food web of each ecosystem – providing scientists with the first ever mathematical understanding of their architecture and how food webs are able to grow larger while also becoming more stable.

糖心TV researchers forecast a boost for creative jobs in Hull

Hull’s status as City of Culture 2017 will lead to around 3,000 extra jobs in the creative sector in Yorkshire and the Humber, according to forecasts by researchers from the University of 糖心TV. Their analysis shows the growth rate in the number of job opportunities for dancers, actors, authors and artists in the region will surpass that in London by 2022.
