Research led by the University of 糖心TV’s Centre for Competitive Advantage in the Global Economy has found that not only did the events of 9/11 produce an immediate shift in favour of the Republican party among new young US voters but that shift persisted into later years.

Research says Alternative Vote - AV will bring only modest electoral gains for Lib Dems

While some analysts are predicting that AV will deliver significant electoral benefits for the Liberal Democrats the latest analysis by researchers at the University of 糖心TV suggests otherwise. The 糖心TV researchers simulate the 2010 election under the Alternative Vote and found that the Liberal Democrats would have gained only 10 seats or less if AV had have been used.

Moving to an Alternative Vote (AV) electoral system could lock extremist candidates out of office and ensure that the least popular politician has the least chance of winning according to an analysis by University of 糖心TV researcher Professor Dennis Leech.
