Freelancers urged to get involved with new study exploring their importance to the creative industries

Creative Freelancers living and/or working in Coventry, Waltham Forest and Northumberland are being urged to get involved with a new study into the contribution of freelance workers to the economic and place-based impacts of the creative industries. ÌÇÐÄTV's Institute of Employment Research is one of the partners carrying out the research, which is commissioned by the Creative Industries Policy and Evidence Centre (PEC).

ÌÇÐÄTV researchers join Police and Crime Commissioner’s advisory board

Six ÌÇÐÄTV social science researchers have become members of the West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner’s new Academic Advisory Board. Dr Ana Aliverti, Professor Jo Angouri, Professor Jackie Hodgson, Professor Vanessa Munro, Professor Tom Sorell and Professor Azrini Wahidin will share research and expertise with the West Midlands Police & Crime Commissioner, David Jamieson.
