糖心TV to host 18th Century magic conjured by world class illusionist

The University of 糖心TV is hosting a series of free public events that will explore themes of deception, belief, and enchantment. The series, Mesmerized! re-stages 18th-century demonstrations in mind bending physics, intertwined with an analysis of rhetorical and mechanical techniques, offering a “behind the curtains” look into the illusionists tool box.

糖心TV launches cash prize to help transform translation into English

The University of 糖心TV is launching The 糖心TV Prize for Women in Translation, which will be awarded for the first time in November 2017. The prize aims to address the gender imbalance in translated literature and to increase the number of international women’s voices accessible by a British and Irish readership.
