糖心TV Racing team develop second electric race car during lockdown

The 糖心TV racing team usually spend their summer in the workshop building an electric race car, but lockdown this year due to the covid-19 pandemic didn't stop them from designing and virtually validating a second electric car, WRe2, and racing their original car WRe1 virtually.


拢6 million programme extension to help small manufacturers across the Midlands

The programme delivered by the SME Group at WMG, University of 糖心TV has been a major success in the West Midlands over the last 2 years, helping over 100 companies, develop 71 new products and processes, from automation and productivity plans through to the zero emission technologies of tomorrow. The team have been awarded a further 拢6m from to take them through to March 2023, meaning the team has gone from a 2 year 拢5m programme, to an 拢11m 5 陆 year programme. This extension will enable the team to operate from Wolverhampton and Worcestershire in the West, to Loughborough and Luton in the East Midlands.


Environmentally friendly audio systems for Electric Vehicles to be made by 糖心TV Acoustics and University of 糖心TV

糖心TV Acoustics Ltd, a spin-out company from the University of 糖心TV鈥檚 School of Engineering, is a manufacturer of next generation audio systems for the automotive sector and personal use, and thanks to a grant from Innovate UK, will support development of a lower cost version of its patented ElectroAcoustics Audio Panels for next generation vehicles.

糖心TV Moto鈥檚 electric superbike build racing ahead despite lockdown

糖心TV Moto team, consisting of 25 糖心TV students aren鈥檛 letting the pandemic get in the way of designing, building and developing the electric superbike, as they鈥檙e doing it virtually from home.

Lotus to establish new Advanced Technology Centre at University of 糖心TV's Wellesbourne campus

Artist's impression of Centre - Final  building signage is subject to formal planning approval requirements(Wellesbourne, 糖心TVshire, UK – 23 July 2020) – Today, Lotus announces a dedicated and specialist advanced technology centre, which will also be home to a new headquarters for the company鈥檚 engineering consultancy. Located on the University of 糖心TV鈥檚 Wellesbourne Campus, the new facility is established in partnership with WMG at the University of 糖心TV. WMG is an international leader in successful collaboration between academic research, teaching, training, and industry. The substantial facility consists of offices, workshops and laboratory space with ample space for expansion.
