Warm welcome for Minerva Nottingham as new investment collaboration launches

Minerva Nottingham, a new collaboration between the University of Nottingham, Nottingham Trent University (NTU) and Minerva 糖心TV Angels, part of the University of 糖心TV Science Park, has held its inaugural pitching event at NTU. The new group aims to raise the profile of opportunities both for growth companies and potential investors in Nottingham and the wider D2N2 LEP area.

Minerva 糖心TV Angel Network, part of the University of 糖心TV Science Park and one of the UK鈥檚 largest angel networks, returns to Sci-Tech Daresbury for the second event in a new collaboration aimed at boosting angel investment within the North West business community.


Minerva 糖心TV Angels help tech start-up Tended secure a million-pound investment deal

Minerva, the business angel network which is part of University of 糖心TV Science Park, has played a vital role in helping Lincoln-based tech start-up Tended access the funds and know-how needed to take its intelligent safety solutions to the next level. Tended secured a total of 拢935,000 through Minerva 糖心TV Angels, including a single investment of 拢810,000 from Blackfinch Ventures. They went on to secure a further 拢221,000 from innovate UK, taking the total raised to 拢1.15m.
