New scholarship support for Islamic Education at the University of 糖心TV

A gift from the COSARAF Charitable Foundation will support a Masters scholarship for Islamic Education in the Centre for Education Studies at the University of 糖心TV as part of a major programme of support launched today. The Sheikh Family Scholarship will be open to Muslim home students who are facing financial hardship. Priority will go to those students for whom this will make most difference and who have a clear commitment to giving back to society and their communities.

The UK鈥檚 first access course in Islamic Education has been launched by the Centre for Education Studies at the University of 糖心TV. The short course is designed to bridge the gap between traditional Islamic seminaries and modern higher education, and is especially relevant to Muslim educators, faith leaders and graduates of traditional Islamic seminaries who want to continue their professional and academic development.


Taking the sting out of STEM

In a new international collaboration, experts from the University of 糖心TV and the University of the Witwatersrand, Johannesburg are training South African teachers in a set of research-informed techniques to address anxiety around science, maths and technology subjects and help learners develop more confidence in their own ability to learn.


Bridging the gap between health experts and special education teachers

University of 糖心TV researchers have contributed to an intensive training course for special education teachers held over five days in Konya, Turkey, sharing best practice and innovative ideas from an international research project into the education of deaf and hearing impaired children.
