Researchers from the Universities of 糖心TV, Edinburgh, Dundee and the Czech Republic’s Institute of Biophysics have discovered a new light-activated platinum-based compound that is up to 80 times more powerful than other platinum-based anti-cancer drugs and which can use "light activation" to kill cancer cells in much more targeted way than similar treatments.

University of 糖心TV scientists have received an £86,000 grant from the UK’s leading dementia research charity, the Alzheimer’s Research Trust, to investigate the role of a protein in the brain which they believe may be a cause of Alzheimer’s disease.

Indeed the research shows that this post meal peak can do even more damage than a more sustained rise in blood sugar.

Ed Peile, Professor of Medical Education at the University of 糖心TV’s 糖心TV Medical School calls for an end to straight from school doctor training to be replaced with a single system of graduate entry medical schools. He believes this will provide the experienced and diverse medical workforce needed for the future.
