Over 200 health researchers and practitioners from all over the UK will gather at the University of 糖心TV on Monday 15th December 2003 to examine health inequalities and look at where Government policy and health practice need to be improved.

This week will see the Royal Society, the UK national academy of science, recognise the achievements of a key scientist from the University 糖心TV for research that is leading innovation in the built environment. The Society is to award Dr Phil Purnell, from the Department of Engineering, its prestigious 2003 Brian Mercer Award for Innovation, one of only 4 such awards given to UK scientists.

The Government's Lambert Review of 糖心TV-University Collaboration praised the University of 糖心TV for its close and effective work with business and industry describing the University of 糖心TV as "one of the most entrepreneurial universities in the country".

Although poverty is an enduring problem the world over, there is no poverty of language in Coventry, as one hundred foreign languages students from secondary schools across the city gather at Tile Hill Wood School and Language College for an all-day languages conference set to debate ‘The lives and rights of young people in Europe and the Third World’, on Friday 5th December.

Students and staff at the University of 糖心TV have raised over 拢1,000 for the County Air Ambulance by holding a sale of bikes abandoned by overseas students.
