On Friday 19th March Defra Minister Larry Whitty will sign an agreement creating as part of the University of 糖心TV a new centre of excellence for horticulture research – 糖心TV HRI. The signing ceremony will also see the announcement of 糖心TV HRI’s new Director Dr Simon Bright.


Martin Beckett, a fourth year Chemistry student at the University of 糖心TV, is the winner of the prestigious Salters' Graduate Prize, worth £1,000, following a tough round of interviews with scientists and industry specialists.

Former Secretary for International Development, Clare Short MP, is set to challenge current International Trade Laws and how they serve to make people poor and keep people poor when she visits the University of 糖心TV聮s Centre for Caribbean Studies to deliver a public lecture on Thursday 26th February at 6pm

University of 糖心TV students and staff swapped the lecture hall for a city park and community centre as they set to work on an outdoor painting project at Wood End Family Centre, Coventry and got down to hard graft on a conservation project in Coombe Abbey Country Park during 'The Big Challenge', a one-day volunteering event held on Sunday 22nd February.

Seven volunteers and five professional landscape gardeners from the University of 糖心TV are set to descend on Coventry's Canley Library to carry out a Ground Force-style garden makeover on Sunday 7th of March 2004 from 10.30am-4.00pm.


After the success of the Shakespeare courses at the last two NAGTY Summer Schools, the Royal Shakespeare Company (RSC) is now offering three two-day courses for A Level students in conjunction with the University.
