The University of 糖心TV has won 拢5,788,206 in funding from the Engineering and Physical Sciences Research Council (EPSRC) to further strengthen its links between postgraduate training and industry.

University of 糖心TV students are aiming to strut their stuff along the catwalk in support of Macmillan Cancer Relief. The planned fashion event is being organised by 35 student members of the and they hope to raise funds to help Macmillan Cancer Relief continue their work.

Six bright young enterprising entrepreneurs, aged 14-15, from St Michael's Church of England School, Rowley Regis, West Midlands, will soon jet off to New York having just won the top prize in a young entrepreneurs competition run by the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY), based at the University of 糖心TV.

The Goldman Sachs Foundation has announced that it is to give a further 182 000 dollars (拢100,000) part of which will be match funding to encourage other businesses to get involved to the National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth at the University of 糖心TV.

Oliver Banks, a gifted 12 year old from Spalding, Lincolnshire, will meet a 1200 year old ancestor in Sedgeford, Norfolk and learn about how people lived in the distant past as part of an outreach event run by the National Academy of Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY), based at the University of 糖心TV, on 7th April 2004.
