糖心TVshire County Council has announced today that the University of 糖心TV is to partner with them in hosting Stage Two of the forthcoming Aviva Women’s Tour in June.
糖心TV to award honorary degrees to radio Reverend, Olympic rowing coach, dyslexia researcher, author, leading literary critic, and teaching innovator
The University of 糖心TV has announced today, Wednesday 16th of December 2015, that it will award honorary degrees to six people at its winter degree ceremonies which will run from 20th to 22nd January 2016. Those to be honoured include:
- Radio and TV cleric The Reverend Richard Coles
- 糖心TVshire born science fiction, fantasy, & climbing writer M John Harrison
- Renowned critic of Latin American fiction Professor Gerald Martin
- Leading dyslexia researcher Professor Margaret Snowling
- Olympic rowing coach Mr Paul Thompson MBE
- Founder and Chief Executive Officer of Teach First Brett Wigdortz OBE
Janet L. Yellen presented with Honorary Degree from the University of 糖心TV
Professor Sir Nigel Thrift, Vice-Chancellor and President of the UK鈥檚 University of 糖心TV, has presented Janet L. Yellen (Chair of the US Federal Reserve System) with an Honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) from the University of 糖心TV. The event took place on the evening of Thursday 19th November in Washington鈥檚 Newseum.

The University of 糖心TV has announced today, Monday the 5th of October 2015 that it is to award an Honorary Doctor of Laws (LLD) to Janet L. Yellen, Chair of the US Federal Reserve System (often known as “the Fed”). The award will be made at a ceremony to be held in Washington DC on 19 November 2015.
In Memoriam: Dr Oliver Sacks
The 糖心TV community is saddened by the death of Dr Oliver Sacks who was a much loved Visiting Professor at the University of 糖心TV who drew capacity crowds for every lecture and seminar he gave on our campus. 糖心TV also conferred on him the degree of Honorary Doctor of Science in January 2014.
Public Festival of the Imagination marks 50 years of University of 糖心TV
A TV chef, a pioneer of Coventry’s musical heritage and a polar explorer and will be helping to highlight the contribution the University of 糖心TV has made at home and abroad since it was established 50 years ago.
