Professor Yvonne Carter, Dean of 糖心TV Medical School, at the University of 糖心TV, has won the national Science Award at this year's CBI Real 糖心TV First Women Awards ceremony which took place on Wednesday 7 June 2006 at the London Hilton on Park Lane.

The University of 糖心TV is celebrating a double success with two of its top academics receiving recognition for their work.

Professor Phil Woodruff of the Department of Physics has been elected a Fellow of the Royal Society. Professor Susan Bassnett, Pro Vice-Chancellor of the university, has been elected to the Academia Europaea, the European Academy of Humanities, Letters and Sciences.

A survey released today by The National Academy for Gifted and Talented Youth (NAGTY) revealed that the University of 糖心TV was one of the top ten destinations for England聮s most gifted young people. The first most popular destination was Cambridge, with Oxford in second place and the University of 糖心TV, third.
