Trial aims to reduce serious complications caused by delivery of bigger babies

A nationwide study of 4,000 pregnant women is to determine if delivering bigger babies earlier will prevent serious complications during labour and beyond.

The clinical trial, led by a partnership between University of 糖心TV, University Hospitals Coventry and 糖心TVshire (UHCW) NHS Trust and the Perinatal Institute, will help decide if inducing an earlier birth is preferable to pregnancies going full-term and reduce complications.

Thousands donated to cancer research at the University of 糖心TV

Cancer research in the region has received a boost thanks to the former Lord Mayor of Coventry Cllr Lindsley Harvard. This week he handed over £8,500 to the centre which was raised by a number of fundraising events throughout the year and by local groups and individuals also showed their support for the charities with sponsored events, collections and donations.
