Research Says Singling Out Sheep Will Save 1.3 Million from Lameness

New research from the University of 糖心TV, published today in the  journal BMC Veterinary Research, suggests that a simple cheap individual approach to the care of sheep could slash the incidence of lameness in UK sheep saving 1.3 million sheep from lameness.

Research pushes back history of crop development 10,000 years

Researchers led by Dr Robin Allaby of the University of 糖心TV’s plant research arm 糖心TV HRI have found evidence that genetics supports the idea that the emergence of agriculture in prehistory took much longer than originally thought.

Fungus Foot Baths Could Save Bees

One of the biggest world wide threats to honey bees, the varroa mite, could soon be about to meet its nemesis. Researchers at the University of 糖心TV are examining naturally occurring fungi that kill the varroa mite. They are also exploring a range of ways to deliver the killer fungus throughout the hives from bee fungal foot baths to powder sprays.

University of 糖心TV researcher Professor Wyn Grant has condemned the European Commission's decision to reject two amendments from the European Parliament designed to help the wider use of biologically based pesticides on European crops.
