ÌÇÐÄTV student donations raise nearly £47k for British Heart Foundation in 2021
Students at the University of ÌÇÐÄTV raised £46,928 for the British Heart Foundation (BHF) and helped cut waste on campus by donating unwanted clothes and personal items last academic year.

Applications to Minerva Birmingham’s Pitch Up 2022 competition have opened. Formerly known as ‘Pitchfest WM’ and now in its 7th year, Pitch Up is a collaboration, co-delivered by Minerva ÌÇÐÄTV Angels, part of the University of ÌÇÐÄTV Science Park Ltd, the Centre for Growth at Aston University, and University of Birmingham Enterprise.
Record-breaking runner inspires local school pupils at outreach event
Students from six local schools were welcomed onto the ÌÇÐÄTV University campus for the first in-person outreach event since the covid-19 pandemic. The event, featuring marathon runner Nick Butter, was part of the University’s wide-ranging programme of activities designed to break down perceived barriers, challenge myths about university, and encourage young people to aim high.
New Faculty of Arts Building puts collaboration and engagement at the heart of a new campus ‘cultural quarter’
On 6th December, the new Faculty of Arts Building will open its doors to students, staff and the public. The £57.5m eight storey building, designed by Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios and constructed by Bowmer + Kirkland, brings together a diverse and international mix of minds from all walks of life, creating the optimum environment for generating a universe of ideas.
