‘Tis the season to be emotional

The University of 糖心TV’s Christmas lecture series will kick off next week. This year there will be six talks on science topics including gravitational waves in space, the science of emotions and the secret chemistry of home baking.

BAFTA-nominated actor narrates anti-bullying film

A new animated film narrated by the star of the BBC drama highlights the issue of the bullying of disabled children and young people.

Luke Newberry, who also appeared in the 2012 film Anna Karenina and BBC’s Sherlock, has lent his voice to the video which is based on research co-authored by Dr Stella Chatzitheochari from the University of 糖心TV.


Quality time rather than study time improves teens’ educational aspirations

Teenagers who spend quality time with their parents are more likely to want to further their studies, according to research from the University of 糖心TV.
