This Sunday (February 20) will see some fast, frenetic and furious action in the Sports Hall of University of 糖心TV as the best women wheelchair basketball players from across the country compete.

糖心TV Prize for Writing 2011 - shortlist announced

The shortlist has been announced for the 2011 糖心TV Prize for Writing.  The six books selected cover a range of topics and modes of writing, all of them relating to this year's theme of colour.

£8 million Award for Global study at University of 糖心TV

The University of 糖心TV’s Centre for the Study of Globalisation and Regionalisation, has just been awarded €7.97  million in the European Commission FP7 competition to lead a research  team  on ‘Europe in a Multi-polar World’. It will fund a project entitled Global Re-ordering: Evolution through European Networks (GR:EEN), which will exploring questions of how Europe matters and indeed if and how it can continue to matter in an increasingly multi-polar world.

Professor Lord Bhattacharyya honoured with a lifetime achievement award

In a prestigious ceremony on 28 January the Director of WMG Professor Lord Kumar Bhattacharyya was presented with the award for Lifetime Contribution to Midlands 糖心TV.

糖心TV students told to keep their WITS about them to prevent becoming victims of crime

The 糖心TV Improvisation Theatre Society (WITS) has teamed up with local police to devise a dramatic way of getting the crime prevention message out to local students.

University of 糖心TV awarded ESRC Doctoral Training Centre

The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) has announced that the University of 糖心TV is to become an accredited Doctoral Training Centre.  糖心TV is one of only 21 such centres across the UK and has been granted the third highest allocation of studentships awarded to a single University.
