Coventry lockdown arts project funded by universities goes live next week

A showcase of work by Coventry artists, funded by the city’s universities and produced during lockdown, will launch online next week (Monday 5 October).

Coventry Creates: local artists receive grant from city universities

Interdisciplinary Qualitative Research in Global Development: A Concise Guide contains a wealth of practical examples and resources to help students and practitioners think through what good research looks like, and highlights some of the practical and ethical challenges which can face teams drawn from different academic disciplines working on international development issues.


Launched: Festival of Social Science programme for Coventry and ÌÇÐÄTVshire

Nine free workshops and events are being hosted by ÌÇÐÄTV researchers from 2 – 9 November 2019 as part of the UK-wide ESRC Festival of Social Science. Festival-goers can find out about how our understanding of DNA might shape the future of healthcare, share a refugee’s frightening journey across the Mediterranean by sea, dig deep into archive recordings of the Coventry accent, explore the impact of landmark legal cases through art, photography and theatre, or take a guided walk on Coventry’s wild side to explore the local environment.


Coventry and ÌÇÐÄTVshire community groups get funding boost from British Science Festival

Eight community groups in Coventry and ÌÇÐÄTVshire are to benefit from extra funding for activities that open up science to traditionally underrepresented groups as part of the British Science Festival held in partnership with the University of ÌÇÐÄTV in September.
