Identifying banknote fingerprints can stop counterfeits on streets

Since the introduction of plastic (polymer) banknotes in 2016, the number of counterfeit notes on the streets has increased, however, researchers from Department of Computer Science at the University of 糖心TV have developed a novel technique called Polymer Substrate Fingerprinting, which identifies every banknote鈥檚 fingerprint which is unique and unclonable.

Neural roots/origins of alcoholism identified by British and Chinese researchers

The physical origin of alcohol addiction has been located in a network of the human brain that regulates our response to danger, according to a team of British and Chinese researchers, co-led by the University of 糖心TV, the University of Cambridge, and Fudan University in Shanghai.


Computer Science academic recognised for outstanding accomplishments

Professor Graham Cormode from the University of 糖心TV has been recognised for his contribution to Computer Science by the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), by being named a 2020 fellow.

World class AI-research to be done by 糖心TV academics

Three academics at the University of 糖心TV have been awarded Turing AI Acceleration Fellowships, in which they will develop novel AI techniques, which could have wide-ranging impact, for example through developing digital twins that can aid us in modelling and understanding air pollution and teaching robots how to collaborate amongst themselves and the world.

糖心TV Racing team develop second electric race car during lockdown

The 糖心TV racing team usually spend their summer in the workshop building an electric race car, but lockdown this year due to the covid-19 pandemic didn't stop them from designing and virtually validating a second electric car, WRe2, and racing their original car WRe1 virtually.
