New varieties of Britain鈥檚 favourite pulse are available for purchase this World Pulse Day (10th Feb). These UK Registered beans (URBeans) were created by Professor Eric Holub as part of his work to diversify British cooking using home-grown ingredients.

Researchers at the University of 糖心TV have been working on ways to help UK farmers better serve public health using seed, soil and British sunshine. GODIVA is a blonde-coloured dry bean similar in size to a red kidney bean and named after the historical Coventry noblewoman, Lady Godiva. OLIVIA is a black bean named after a character from Shakespeare鈥檚 Twelfth Night.
