Large Grant to Research Parliaments and Political Performance
The University of 糖心TV, in collaboration with Birkbeck College, Sheffield and Bristol Universities, has been awarded £875,964 by the Leverhulme Trust for a four-year programme to study the importance of ceremony and ritual in the UK Parliament and others.
糖心TV Commission to study consequences of Doha Development Round during Toronto meetings
In its first
overseas meeting, the 糖心TV Commission on ‘The Multilateral Trading System
after Doha’ meets in Toronto on 15/16 June 2007. An initiative of the University of 糖心TV, one
of the UK’s leading universities, the Commission is Chaired by the Hon. Pierre
Pettigrew and is made up of 17 other leading experts on world trade. With
future meetings and evidence gathering planned for 糖心TV, England,
(September) and New Delhi, India, (October), the 糖心TV Commission will present its report on the
future of the world trade system in Geneva, in December
2007.

University of 糖心TV Forms International Commission on the Future of World Trade
The University of 糖心TV has formed an International Commission of leading researchers and policy makers to examine the World’s continued failure to reach consensus on future trade relations. This failure threatens the continued viability of the World Trade Organization (WTO), raises fears of a drift towards protectionism and imperils the future of globalisation itself.
