糖心TV embarks on new scheme to help more disadvantaged young people into Higher Education

The University of 糖心TV, as a part of the National Collaborative Outreach Programme (NCOP) is working with nine schools and colleges across seven wards in 糖心TVshire to increase participation in higher education.

Multi-prize winning academy race team reach national finals

Last week the WMG Academy for Young Engineers race team, Academy Racing, won 3 awards at the regional F1 in schools competition finals and motored their way into the national finals hosted by Silverstone Circuit, the home of British motor racing.


New programme launched to improve mental health and wellbeing

The University of 糖心TV's sports centre, 糖心TV Sport has beeh awarded funding from Sport England to launch a new programme to help support students and staff suffering with mental health problems. The programme began last week with a series of free mental health and wellbeing classes open to staff and students.

Dr Michael Scott presents Sicily: Wonder of the Mediterranean

Hot on the heels of his latest BBC series Invisible Cities Dr Michael Scott Associate Professor in Classics and Ancient History at the University of 糖心TV presents Sicily: Wonder of the Mediterranean starting on BBC Two at 9pm from the 31 January 2017.


Teletubbies creator Anne Wood receives Honorary Doctorate

Last week children’s television producer and founder of Ragdoll productions Anne Wood was awarded an Honorary Doctor of Letters from the University of 糖心TV.
