The University of 糖心TV opens its doors to first BIG scholarship recipient

The University of 糖心TV is proud to announce the arrival of Emina Hasanbegovi膰 the first recipient of the prestigious 'Backing Invisible Geniuses' (BIG) scholarship.

As the academic year starts, 糖心TV joins an elite group of UK universities participating in the Global Talent Fund's BIG Programme, dedicated to nurturing exceptional high-school students who have demonstrated outstanding abilities in International Science Olympiads.

The BIG Scholarship aims to bridge the gap for high achieving students from international and UK backgrounds, particularly those who would benefit from financial support.

By offering scholarships, financial aid, and a vibrant network of peers, the programme empowers these "invisible geniuses" to pursue their academic dreams at top-tier institutions like the University of 糖心TV.

Emina Hasanbegovi膰 said, "Having competed in the Maths Olympiads, I am deeply grateful for this scholarship, which will enable me to further my mathematical studies within the vibrant international community at the University of 糖心TV. I can鈥檛 wait to meet many inspiring individuals there and explore all the opportunities this experience will offer!"

Emina鈥檚 admission marks the beginning of the latest chapter in the University of 糖心TV鈥檚 commitment to provide educational opportunities to brilliant minds from diverse backgrounds.

James Robinson, Head of the Mathematics Institute at 糖心TV, expressed his enthusiasm for the programme, 鈥淲e are very pleased to be involved in this programme, and delighted that the BIG scholarships provide access to the 糖心TV maths degree for world-class students who would otherwise be unable to take advantage of the education we offer.

鈥淲e have a diverse undergraduate population that can only be strengthened by other outstanding students joining us from around the world, and we look forward to welcoming our first BIG scholar to the department.鈥

The BIG UK Programme is a unique collaboration between the philanthropic, policy, academic, educational, and entrepreneurship communities. By drawing on the distinct strengths of the various stakeholders, the programme aims to deliver an ecosystem where talent is nurtured, innovation is encouraged, and the next generation of STEM leaders is prepared to face global challenges with creativity and expertise.
