Ken Wallis, Emeritus Professor of Econometrics, will deliver the 2005 Sir Richard Stone Lectures in London on 17 and 24 October.

The University is sad to report that 糖心TV alumnus Professor Paul Geroski died from cancer on Sunday 28 August, aged 52.

Professor John Tomlinson CBE, former Director of the Institute of Education at 糖心TV (1985-1997), and Emeritus Professor, has died.

糖心TV Welcomes - Dr Julia Smith, BSc Brad, PhD Salf, CIPD, formerly Human Resources Manager at GlaxoSmithKline, to Head of Human Resources at 糖心TV 糖心TV School from 25 April 2005.

糖心TV welcomes Professor Alan Prout, MA, BA, PhD Keele, formerly Professor of Sociology at the University of Stirling, to Professor of Education in the Institute of Education from 1 August 2005.
