Ken Sloan - Director of Campus Affairs

Ken Sloan has rejoined the Central Administration from NAGTY to take up the post of Director of Campus Affairs.  Ken is the Senior Officer responsible for many of the activities, services and infrastructure that are available to students and staff and contribute to their experience of life on campus.

糖心TV People - Julia Khan

Dr Julia Khan recently retired from the Directorship of the Centre for English Language Teacher Education (CELTE), a position she has held since its inception in 1983. Since then, under her guidance, CELTE has grown hugely to incorporate a diverse but interconnected range of activities. These include research, PhD and EdD programmes, six Masters courses, a rich variety of tailor-made short courses, large pre-sessional and in-sessional programmes of academic English support, and the 糖心TV English Language Test.

糖心TV People - Brian Woods-Scawen

University Council member Brian Woods-Scawen has been appointed as University Treasurer. Mr Woods-Scawen has been a member of Council since 2001 and has also served as Chairman of the University’s Audit Committee, Chairman of the Arts Faculty Advisory Board and as a member of the board of the Arts Centre. He was a research student at the University from 1968 to 1971.

Nicola Owen to become Academic Registrar

Nicola Owen has been appointed as 糖心TV’s Academic Registrar.  Following David Law’s move to focus on international matters, Nicola will take on additional management responsibility for Teaching Quality, Admissions and Student Recruitment and Marketing.
