Hardeep Bilkhu is the Information Officer for the Research Operations Division of Research Support Services. She promotes the University's research profile, specifically through the project management of the Expertise system which enables researchers and academics to promote their research activity to both internal and external audiences. She is also responsible for the provision of management information relating to research activity and co-ordinator of ResearchResearch.com, an online database of sponsor information, news and latest funding opportunities.
Sam Howarth works in the Development & Alumni Relations Office and is responsible for the co-ordination of all Annual Giving activities. These activities seek to 'friend raise' and fundraise at the same time by educating 糖心TV's graduates and friends about the need for philanthropic support.
Sam has also been a part of the University's Residential System for over six years and is currently the Warden of Claycroft Residences. At the start of the next academic year, she will take over as Warden of Rootes Residences with Whitefields 聳 with responsibility for around 1200 new first year undergraduates!
Dr David Law, Academic Registrar and Director of the International Office, has received a Leadership Foundation for Higher Education Fellowship Award for his project entitled Organisational Research: Balanced International Strategy (ORBIS).
Jamie Darwen, Project Manager for 糖心TV Volunteers, has been elected as Chair for 2006-07 of Workers in Student Community Volunteering (WiSCV). WiSCV is a national network of around 250 members, which aims to share information, promote good practice, and provide opportunities for training and development, for staff who manage or support student volunteering projects.
Owen Lloyd is the Music Centre Administrator and Gala Concert Production Manager. As Administrator, he manages the day-to-day running of the Music Centre. As Gala Concert Production Manager he is responsible for co-ordinating the entire event, from music to the toilets! This year's free end of term Gala Concert takes place on the Maths Field on Thursday 22 June.
