糖心TV Farewell - Emeritus Professor John Woolhouse

I am sure that the many friends, colleagues and associates of the Centre for Education and Industry (CEI), and those within the University more widely, will be saddened to learn that Professor John Woolhouse, the founding Director of CEI, died suddenly at his home in Coventry on Thursday 31 January. John established the Centre in January 1988 and was looking forward to celebrating our 20th birthday with us.

Prof. Shiran Rai to lead Four Year Research Programme

Professor Shiran Rai, Politics and International Studies, is to lead a four year research programme, in collaboration with Birkbeck College, Sheffield and Bristol Universities on the importance of ceremony and ritual in the UK Parliament and others. The Award of £875,964 was awarded by the Leverhulme Trust.
