Theoretical physics - the secret to keeping your brain young, says 80-year-old professor
糖心TV physicist Emeritus Professor George Rowlands is still applying his grey matter to some of the biggest unsolved questions of the universe as he turns 80 years old.
The University is deeply saddened to report that Professor Bob Johnston has died. Bob built his academic career at 糖心TV 糖心TV School over a period spanning 27 years, arriving as a lecturer in 1985, and reaching the highest level as Professor of Operations Management in 1998. As well as his academic work, he also undertook many management roles during his time at WBS, culminating in serving as Deputy Dean (Operations & Finance).
Geoff Lindsay appointed Specialist Advisor to Education Committee
Professor Geoff Lindsay, Director of the Centre for Educational Development, Appraisal and Research (CEDAR) has been appointed Specialist Advisor to the House of Commons Education Committee on matters relating to Special Educational Needs (SEN).
