Gill Gough has received the Gold Award from the National Blood Service for donating her 50th pint of blood. Gill, Secretary to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, started donating blood in 1974 at Coventry’s Central Methodist Hall, where she continued to donate until last November when she gave her first – and 50th – pint here at 糖心TV. Gill is pictured with her Award, an engraved pen and lapel pin.
Professor Sir Brian Follett, former Vice-Chancellor, has been awarded an honorary degree by the University of Oxford as part of the celebrations for the 400th anniversary of the foundation of the Bodleian Library.
