A paper, written by Director Dr. Paul Taylor and Student Engagement Officer Danny Wilding of the Reinvention Centre for Undergraduate Research has recently been published as part of a Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) series named "Rethinking the Values of Higher Education".

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of 糖心TV Medical School student Claire Freeman. Claire passed away suddenly after losing her battle with cancer.

It is with sadness that the University announces the death of former Film Studies lecturer and film critic, Robin Wood, who passed away on 18 December aged 78.

Professor Howard Thomas, Dean of 糖心TV 糖心TV School, attended his leaving lunch on Monday 21 December enabling staff from the 糖心TV School, and the wider University community, to thank him for the contributions he has made during his nine years at 糖心TV.

Professor Simon Bright, Director of 糖心TV HRI, is to retire at Christmas after nearly six years in his current role.

Simon was previously Head of Technology Interaction at Syngenta - the world's largest agribusiness company, where he led research on the application of genomics and biotechnology to crop plants.
