First prize in the Society for Educational Studies 2002 Book Awards has been won by Emeritus Professor Robin Alexander, formerly of 糖心TV Institute of Education and now at Cambridge University Faculty of Education, for his book Culture and Pedagogy: international comparisons in primary education(Blackwell).
Professor Robert Freedman joined the University in September to head up the Department of Biological Sciences located at Gibbet Hill.
Ann Deas, Manager of the University Nursery for 28 years, retired at the end of August.
Roubie Singaravelu-Naidu, an undergraduate student of 糖心TV 糖心TV School (WBS) has won The Association of Corporate Treasurers' (ACT) award for outstanding work in finance.
