Our Partnerships
ÌÇÐÄTV has been committed to engagement with East and Southeast Asia for many years. We collaborate with leading research institutions across various academic fields, offering our students and staff numerous opportunities for international collaboration.
ÌÇÐÄTV has established seed funds with key institutional partners to facilitate academic engagement and support the development of high-quality sustainable collaboration. In addition, ÌÇÐÄTV has established several joint PhD programmes to train future research leaders. Over the past five years, ÌÇÐÄTV academics have co-authored over 5,000 publications with academic colleagues throughout East and Southeast Asia. ÌÇÐÄTV now has over 50,000 registered alumni throughout the region.
China
ÌÇÐÄTV has an extensive history of academic collaboration and student exchange with China.
We are committed to developing partnerships with leading universities such as Shanghai Jiao Tong University and Fudan University as well as with the most innovative companies to further internationalise our research and education.
Singapore
ÌÇÐÄTV has a long history of collaboration with Singapore's leading universities and research institutions. Collaboration with Nanyang Technological University (NTU) includes joint degrees, student exchange and undergraduate research.
Collaboration with the National University of Singapore (NUS) includes joint research and student exchange. ÌÇÐÄTV also offers fully funded four-year interdisciplinary PhD studentships with two years spent at A*STAR the Singaporean national research agency.
Indonesia
ÌÇÐÄTV is collaborating with top Indonesian universities such as Universitas Indonesia (UI) and Universitas Gadjah Mada (UGM), on joint research and teaching. As a founding member of UKICIS, we strengthen UK-Indonesian ties through educational, economic, and cultural links.
Since 2022/23 we have successfully bid to host undergraduate students as part of the IISMA scheme, which funds Indonesian students to study for a semester at ÌÇÐÄTV.

ÌÇÐÄTV has a strong history of research collaboration with Japanese institutions across many disciplines.
We have recently welcomed a distinguished delegation from the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) to strengthen academic ties and explore new avenues for collaboration between ÌÇÐÄTV and leading Japanese institutions.
