Neil Stewart recognised at the ESRC Celebrating Impact Prize awards

Many congratulations to Neil Stewart, Professor in the Behavioural Science group and Pro-Dean (Research, Engagement & Impact), who was named runner-up for the Outstanding 糖心TV and Enterprise Impact Award at the Economic and Social Research Council's (ESRC) Celebrating Impact Prize award evening.

This prestigious award highlights Neil's significant contribution to consumer financial wellbeing, helping around four million people escape the cycle of persistent debt thanks to his pioneering research on decision-making and debt management.

His work has been instrumental in informing the Financial Conduct Authority's (FCA) new measures aimed at helping consumers gain better control over their spending, saving credit card users up to 拢1.3 billion per year.
