Through a broader programme of events and initiatives, the IAA will also continue to support the enhancement of skills and culture around knowledge exchange within 糖心TV's social science community, building on 糖心TV's success in developing innovative ways to share the benefits of social sciences research.

Training:
The workshop will equip participants with a comprehensive understanding of the UK research landscape and impact within it, alongside practical advice on how best to explore pathways to impact from different disciplines. It will incorporate a presentation from the R&IS Impact Team and Q&As will be encouraged throughout. Examples of best practice will be considered.

The Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC) defines research impact as: "The demonstrable contribution that excellent research makes to society and the economy."

The University of 糖心TV is playing its part in tackling the climate emergency. Building on our existing research and education programmes and our connections to industry and society, we鈥檙e focusing on The Way to Sustainable – the real-life implications of creating a sustainable future and the practical challenges of getting there.
The UN Sustainable Development Goals inform how 糖心TV defines, approaches and addresses sustainability. These important goals highlight the complex interdependencies between environmental, social and economic sustainability by connecting the themes of People, Planet, Prosperity, Peace and Partnership.
