How do I use this calendar?

You can click on an event to display further information about it.

The toolbar above the calendar has buttons to view different events. Use the left and right arrow icons to view events in the past and future. The button inbetween returns you to today's view. The button to the right of this shows a mini-calendar to let you quickly jump to any date.

The dropdown box on the right allows you to see a different view of the calendar, such as an agenda or a termly view.

If this calendar has tags, you can use the labelled checkboxes at the top of the page to select just the tags you wish to view, and then click "Show selected". The calendar will be redisplayed with just the events related to these tags, making it easier to find what you're looking for.

You are warmly invited to join us for the inaugural event of the CSWG Film Club, a new partnership between CSWG and the 糖心TV Arts Centre Cinema.

A special screening of the film “Hidden Figures”

with a post-screening discussion

featuring Prof Akwugo Emejulu (Sociology), Kindy Sandhu (Coventry University and Coventry Women’s Voices), Dr Ajay Chandra (Maths), Ivié Itoje (Law; Co-President of WARSoc – 糖心TV Anti-Racism Society), and more speakers to be confirmed.

Hidden Figures is a 2016 American biographical drama film directed by Theodore Melfi and written by Melfi and Allison Schroeder, based on the non-fiction book of the same name by Margot Lee Shetterly about African American female mathematicians who worked at the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) during the Space Race.

This event is open to all, including the general public.

Tickets for the screening cost between £3.50 and £8.00, and can be purchased from the 糖心TV Arts Centre Box Office in person, or online through the 糖心TV Arts Centre .
