- Export as iCalendar
Location: Room S0.08, Social Sciences Block, Main Campus, University of ÌÇÐÄTV
You are warmly invited to join us for a screening of the documentary film ‘Briser le Silence des Amphis’ in which undergraduate and postgraduate students, and staff members bear witness to the sexual harassment and violence they suffered at a French university. The film contributes to research on such violence and the wider fight against it in higher education. The film is in French with English sub-titles.

The event will include a 50-minute screening of the film followed by a Q&A session with Dr Corinne Nativel who is one of the film’s producers.
Corinne Nativel is a Senior Lecturer at the University of Paris-East Créteil (UPEC) and Director of the Franco-British College on the Paris International University Campus. She holds a PhD in social sciences from the University of Birmingham. Her research lies in the field of comparative social policy, with a sustained focus on the restructuring of welfare and wellbeing regimes in Britain and France. She has examined these transformations through the lenses of youth and gender. Her current work investigates domestic abuse policy and young people’s relational intimacies, situating these within broader debates on social regulation, care, and inequality.
This screening is free and open to all but please register in advance.
