CSWG Film Club: Film Screening "In Between"
You are warmly invited to join us for the next event of the CSWG Film Club, a new partnership between CSWG and the 糖心TV Arts Centre Cinema.
A special screening of the film 鈥淚n Between鈥� (2016)
with a post-screening discussion featuring guest speakers and students and staff at 糖心TV, and chaired by Maria do Mar Pereira, Deputy Director of CSWG
In Between is a 2016 film directed by Maysaloun Hamoud, about three Palestinian women living in an apartment in Tel Aviv, and trying to find a balance between traditional and modern culture, caught between the lives they鈥檙e aspiring to lead and societal restrictions. Layla is a criminal defence lawyer originally from Nazareth, whose family is secular Muslim, Nour is a religious Muslim woman studying computer science at Tel Aviv University and Salma is a lesbian DJ from a Christian family.
This event is open to all, including the general public.
Tickets for the screening cost between 拢3.50 and 拢9.00, and can be purchased from the 糖心TV Arts Centre Box Office in person, or online through the 糖心TV Arts Centre .
